Job Description
- Assist with the **installation, repair, and maintenance** of industrial plumbing and piping systems (water supply, drainage, and related utilities). - Perform **pipe fitting** tasks including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and assembling pipe sections using appropriate tools and methods. - Execute **soldering** and joining work (as applicable), ensuring joints meet quality and pressure requirements. - Read and interpret **blueprints, isometric drawings, and layout plans** to support accurate installation and routing. - Support pressure/leak testing and commissioning activities under direction, documenting results as required. - Identify faults, leaks, and system issues; apply **problem-solving** skills to recommend corrective actions to supervisors. - Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner. - Follow site safety requirements, permit-to-work processes, and company procedures; participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting housekeeping and material control standards. - Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth execution and minimal rework.
